Wisner von Morgenstern , also Wiesner von Morgenstern , Vinzner von Morgenstern or Viszner von Morgenstern , is the name of an extinct noble family of the Hungarian crown lands .

history

The family comes from Agram County . Franz Vinzner von Morgenstern received a letter of nobility and coat of arms from King Franz II for himself, his wife Gertrude Metzner and his children Georg and Karoline in Pressburg on July 26, 1792 . Later, members of the family also lived in the Banat and Paraguay .

In the shield, quartered in blue and gold : 1 and 4 an armored , bent and fallen arm, holding a scimitar with crossguard in his fist, the tip of which pierces through a green laurel wreath . 2 and 3 a red lion turned inwards , holding a six-pointed blue star between the front paws. On the crowned helmet with blue and silver blankets on the right, red and gold on the left , between an open, black flight , the lion growing.
