Ivan Bojničić
Ivan Bojničić (born December 24, 1858 in Valpovo , Slavonia , † June 11, 1925 in Zagreb ) was a lawyer , archive director and heraldist .
Life
Bojničić studied law in Osijek , Budapest and Vienna . He received his doctorate in philosophy .
From 1879 to 1894 he was custodian of the archaeological department of the Croatian National Museum. From 1894 he was director of the royal Croatian-Slavonian-Dalmatian national archive and lecturer at the University of Zagreb. With permission he published the journal Mitteilungen of the Royal Croatian-Slavonian-Dalmatian State Archives in 1898 . In 1910 Bojničić took part in the Congress of Librarians and Archivists in Brussels .
He had a special interest in history and its auxiliary sciences and also devoted himself to heraldry . The focus was also on working on the new screen maker . His work was done by the nobility of Croatia and Slavonia as well as Galicia , Lodomeria and Bukovina .
