Life

He belonged to the old Hessian and important noble family, whose origin lies in the 15th century. Friedrich (father) worked as a university bookseller in Giessen. Friedrich Wilhelm (father) was married to Auguste Freiin von Breidenbach zu Breidenstein (mother).

The coat of arms of Friedrich Heyer (son) was: in silver in the foot of the shield a transverse branch with three green leaf stalks and red-seeded and green flared roses grow up on it, the middle one towering over the others.
