Yamanashi Science Museum

Yamanashi Science Museum ( Japanese 山 梨 県 立 科学館 , Yamanashi-kenritsu kagakukan ) is a technical museum in Kofu in Yamanashi Prefecture in Japan . The museum mainly shows topics from the fields of astronomy and technology.

history

The museum was originally located in Kofu Castle , but was relocated in 1998 when restoration plans for the castle were implemented.

The museum includes a planetarium , an astronomical observatory, exhibition rooms, self-experiment rooms and a library.

location

• The museum is about 25 minutes' walk from the north exit of Kofu Station .
