Jason Gedrick (born February 7, 1965 in Chicago , Illinois ) is an American actor .

Career

Gedrick's career began as an extra in such films as Bad Boys - Small and Dangerous (1983) and Loose Business (1983). After roles in Back from the Past (1985), The Steel Eagle (1986), Promised Land (1987), Born on July 4th (1989) and Backdraft (1991), he turned to TV series and starred in, among others Class of '96 (1993) and Sweet Justice (1994). Gedrick made his breakthrough with the role of Neil Avedon in the TV series Murder One . In the 1997 TV adaptation of the Ken Follett bestseller The Third Twin , he played the lead role of Steve Logan and his "twins". Other television series followed: EZ Streets (1996), Falcone (2000) and The Beast (2001). At Ally McBeal he had a small guest appearance in 1999. In 2002, Gedrick was in front of the camera for the television series Boomtown .

In the TV movie A Date with Darkness , Gedrick played the rapist Andrew Luster . Jason Gedrick also appeared in front of the camera for the television series Dexter . There he played the criminal owner of a table dance bar who was involved in mafia business.

Clemens Gerhard is the voice actor for Gedrick.
