A technology museum archives and exhibits technical achievements, mainly historical objects. Numerous other independent museums in the field of technology specialize in certain technical genres such as traffic museums or certain makes and branches of industry, such as mining , chemistry , measurement technology , musical instruments , ceramics or paper . Technical visions of the future are mainly presented in so-called Science Centers .
