KK Wit Studio ( Japanese 株式会社 ウ ィ ッ ト ス タ ジ オ , Kabushiki-gaisha Witto Sutajio , English WIT STUDIO, Inc. ) is a Japanese anime production studio based in Musashino . It was founded on July 1, 2012 by Jōji Wada (George Wada), a former producer at Studio Production IG , and is majority owned by Production I.G's Holding IG Port. The studio's first work was the successful anime adaptation of the manga series Attack on Titan .
