Witjastief

Witjastief (also Witjastiefe , Vityaz depth (e) , Vitias depth (e) or Vitiaz depth (e) called) designates several widely separated marine lows that after the Soviet Research vessel Vityaz were named and in the Pacific Ocean are:

• Witjastief 1 (11,034 m); deepest part of the Pacific and the world's oceans ; in the western Pacific in the Mariana Trench
• Witjastief 2 (10,882 m); Sea depth in the southwestern Pacific and deepest point in the Tonga Trench
• Witjastief 3 (10,542 m); Sea depth in the northwestern Pacific and deepest point in the Kuril Trench
• Witjastief 4 (10,047 m); Sea depth in the southwestern Pacific and deepest point in the Kermadec Trench
