Vladimir Alexejewitsch Schcherbakow ( Russian Владимир Александрович Щербаков ; born October 26, 1945 in Moscow , † 1993 ) was a Russian football player on the position of a striker .

Shcherbakov began his career as an adult footballer at CSKA Moscow and after only one season moved to city rivals Torpedo Moscow , for whom he played for the next four and a half years and with whom he became Soviet football champion in 1965 . In the same year he also completed his only international match for the national soccer team of the USSR .
In the summer of 1968 Shcherbakov returned to CSKA Moscow and a year later he moved to Politotdel Tashkent before ending his active career in 1972 in the service of Shinnik Yaroslavl .
