Vladimir Konstantinov Andreyevich ( Russian Владимир Андреевич Константинов , Ukrainian Володимир Андрійович Константинов Volodymyr Konstantynow * 19th November 1956 in Vladimirovka , Moldavian SSR today Transnistria , Moldova ) is a Russian and Ukrainian politicians .

Life

He was President of the Parliament of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea in 2014 .

Konstantinov was a member of the parliament of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea from 1998 to 2002 and from 2006 to 2010 and has been a member of the Crimean parliament for the Party of Regions since 2010 . He has been chairman of the parliament since March 2010. The Party of Regions emerged from the parliamentary elections in Crimea in 2010 with 80 out of 100 seats as by far the strongest party. The remaining 20 seats went to five small parties.

In the 1970s Konstantinov completed his training as an engineer in Simferopol and in the 1990s he played a leading role in the construction and real estate company "Konsol". From 2001 to 2010 he headed the Ukrrosbud construction and real estate company and is considered one of the wealthiest people in Crimea with assets of over $ 100 million. The Ukrainian politician Andrei Wilenowitsch Sentschenko , also from Simferopol, who sits in the parliament of Ukraine as a member of Yulia Tymoshenko's Fatherland Party , claims that Konstantinov was involved in fraudulent real estate deals in the 1990s and is now practically bankrupt.

In April 2014, the US government and the EU put Konstantinov on a sanctions list as a result of the Ukraine crisis , which bans Konstantinov from entering the United States and the member states of the EU.
