Vladimir Kunin

Wladimir Wladimirowitsch Kunin , actually Wladimir Feinberg, ( Russian Владимир Владимирович Кунин ; born June 19, 1927 in Leningrad , † February 4, 2011 in Munich ) was a Russian writer , playwright and screenwriter .

Kunin was a member of the Union of Filmmakers of Russia (Союз кинематографистов России), the Russian Union of Writers (Союз писателей России) and honorary member of the International Association of writers and publicists (Международная ассоциация писателей и публицистов). He became known to a larger audience in the West through the film adaptation (1989) of his novel Intergirl (1988). Kunin lived in Germany since 1990.
