Vladimir Sergeyevich Pyschnow
Vladimir Sergeyevich Pyschnow ( Russian Владимир Сергеевич Пышнов ., Scientific transliteration Vladimir Sergeevič Pyšnov * February 21 . Jul / 6. March 1901 greg. In Moscow , † 1984 ) was a Soviet aerodynamics.
Life
In 1920 Pyschnow joined the army and then studied until 1925. His achievements in the fields of theoretical aerodynamics and flight mechanics were particularly outstanding . His approaches to flight behavior in the area of hypersonic noise were new . He was given a chair at ZAGI in 1939 , became lieutenant general in 1946 and finally, in 1958, doctor of technical sciences.
He supported some well-known aircraft designers in their work, such as Alexander Sergejewitsch Jakowlew .
