Wojciech Kowalczyk (born April 14, 1972 in Warszawa , Poland ) is a former Polish football player .

He played in Poland , Spain and Cyprus , among others . Kowalczyk played 39 times for the Polish national team and scored 11 goals. He was also the captain of the Polish national team in several games .

After his active career, he was a sports commentator for the Polish pay-TV channel Polsat Sport and wrote a book ("Kowal. Prawdziwa Historia") that caused much controversy.
