The Wold Nunatak is a Nunatak in the West Antarctic Ellsworthland . In the southeastern part of the Hudson Mountains, it rises 16 km east of Mount Manthe .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1966. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1968 after the geologist Richard J. Wold, who was part of the United States Antarctic Research Program from 1960 to 1961 worked at the Byrd station .
