Wolf Alexander Hanisch (born May 27, 1963 in Kaufbeuren ) is a German travel columnist and author.

Life

From 1997 to 2006, the graduate social scientist published numerous reports for the travel paper of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung . Wolf Alexander Hanisch has been a regular author of the travel section of the weekly newspaper Die Zeit since 2002 , on whose behalf he continuously travels to all parts of the world. His most elaborate project so far was the book “ Panamericana - Adventure Between Alaska and Tierra del Fuego ” (2005), for which Hanisch drove from the polar sea of ​​northern Canada to Tierra del Fuego together with the photographer Peter Gebhard. In the volume he described the diverse world along the legendary route. In the nineties, Hanisch, who also has a text office in Cologne, published a. a. two satirical books by Rowohlt.
