Wolf Rudolph von Schönberg

Wolf Rudolph von Schönberg (born November 10, 1668 in Purschenstein ; † May 31, 1735 in Dresden ) was the royal Polish and electoral Saxon chamberlain and governor of Wolkenstein and owner of Purschenstein Castle and lord of Sayda .

Wolf Rudolph von Schönberg came from the Saxon noble family von Schönberg and was the youngest son of Caspar Heinrich von Schönberg. His first marriage was to Esther Charlotte von Rochau. On June 1, 1719, he signed a marriage contract in Dresden with Johanna Magdalena Sophia, the daughter of Christian Ludwig von Schönberg from the Ahlum family. The two children of this second marriage did not survive the father. After his death, his widow married Gotthelf Friedrich von Schönberg for the second time . She died on December 4, 1741 on the Thammenhain manor .
