Wolf von Gottberg
Wolf von Gottberg (born May 7, 1865 in Frankfurt an der Oder ; † September 10, 1938 in Potsdam ) was a German administrative officer.
Life
Wolf von Gottberg studied law at the University of Halle . In 1885 he became a member of the Corps Guestphalia Halle . After completing his studies, he entered the Prussian civil service and completed the government traineeship in Köslin. In 1892 he passed the government assessor exam. From 1902 to 1918 he was district administrator for the district of Crossen (Oder) . He then joined the government department for churches and schools in Potsdam as a councilor . Most recently he was a senior councilor.
Since 1926 he was married to his cousin Anni von Gottberg , née von Selchow, divorced von Normann, founder of the Confessing Church in Potsdam and a member of the Brandenburg Provincial Brotherhood of the Confessing Church.
