Wolfgang Bear

Wolfgang Bär (born May 20, 1960 in Bayreuth ) is a German lawyer and judge at the Federal Court of Justice .

After completing his legal training, he initially worked as an academic advisor at the University of Bayreuth before joining the judicial service of the Free State of Bavaria in 1991 . After working at the Bayreuth District Court , the Bamberg Higher Regional Court and a secondment to the Bavarian Ministry of Justice, most recently with the rank of Ministerial Councilor, he was appointed judge at the Federal Court of Justice in 2015.

The presidium of the Federal Court of Justice initially referred him to the IX. Civil Senate , from October 2015 to the 1st Criminal Senate .
