Wolfgang Becker-Brüser

Wolfgang Becker-Brüser (born May 30, 1949 in Essen ) is a German doctor, pharmacist and publicist.

Career

After school and a two-year pharmacy internship in Essen, Becker-Brüser studied pharmacy at the Free University of Berlin from 1969 and then human medicine at the Free University of Berlin. He completed both courses with a license to practice medicine. In 1976 he came to ATI Medicines Information Berlin GmbH, which publishes, among other things, the independent medical journal Arznei-Telegramm . Since 1996 he has been the company's managing director and publisher and editor-in-chief of the magazine.

In 2005 he co-founded the pharmaceutically critical medicine and health magazine Gute Pillen - Bad Pillen , which is aimed specifically at laypeople.

Becker-Brüser is married to the biologist and science journalist Elke Brüser and has two adult children with her.
