Career

The offspring of a Yugoslav-German family began playing football in the VfB Kleve E-Jugend . Ex-MSV player Horst Gecks placed the talented youth player in the Duisburg youth department. In the 1981/82 season , the 18-year-old made two short appearances for MSV Duisburg in the Bundesliga . On March 6, 1982 Dedic was nominated by coach Kuno Klötzer for the away game at Eintracht Frankfurt , where he came on for Roland Wohlfarth in the 71st minute . Two months later he played again in the Wedaustadion against SV Darmstadt 98 . The zebras were relegated at the end of the season and Dedic did not get a follow-up contract. He moved back to the district league for VfB Kleve and a year later in the Oberliga Nordrhein for 1. FC Bocholt . After one season, Dedic returned to VfB Kleve and played for local rivals SC Kleve 63 and Eintracht Emmerich towards the end of his career.

Dedic has been working as a driver and warehouse clerk for an advertising material logistics company for over 25 years.
