Wolfgang Edenharder

Wolfgang Edenharder (born April 10, 1962 in Burglengenfeld ) is a German singer of popular music .

Life

Wolfgang Edenharder learned the accordion at the age of 8 and founded the Original Naabtal Duo in 1977 with Hubert Zaschka in Burglengenfeld . With the drummer Willi Seitz , who joined in 1985 , the Original Naabtal Duo won the Grand Prix of Folk Music in 1988 with the song Patrona Bavariae , which subsequently became the most successful song in folk music history.

In 1993 the duo broke up and both of them continued to boast hits and successes as solo performers. In October 2003 they reunited at the autumn festival of folk music and they celebrated their big comeback with the album "Wir sind wieder da".

The title song and other titles were composed and written by Wolfgang Edenharder himself. He is also active as a composer and lyricist for various other interpreters.

Wolfgang Edenharder is married to his wife Johanna. They have two children, Christian and Linda. Christian is a singer and keyboard player in the party band Sternenfänger .
