Wolfgang Edenhofer

Wolfgang Edenhofer (born August 10, 1940 ; † August 6, 2011 in Munich ) was a German lawyer .

Career

Edenhofer, born the son of a magistrate, began his judicial career in 1968 as a court assessor and then as a district judge at the district court of Munich I. In 1978 he was appointed judge at the Munich Higher Regional Court. Further stations in his career were the vice-presidency of the Munich District Court from 1984 and the promotion to Vice-President of the Munich Higher Regional Court. From 1996 until his retirement in 2002, Edenhofer was President of the Munich District Court . From 1993 to 2002 he was also a professional judge at the Bavarian Constitutional Court .

For 29 years until 2010, Wolfgang Edenhofer commented on the inheritance law of the civil code in Palandt .
