Wolfgang Engelhard

Wolfgang Engelhard (born April 6, 1956 in Hamburg ) is a German lawyer and judge at the Federal Social Court .

Career

Engelhard graduated in 1981 with the first state examination in law. After the Great State Examination in Law in 1984 he was legal advisor of the AOK -Landesverband Hamburg and the AOK Hamburg from May 1985 to August 1993 .

From September 1993 Engelhard Richter was at the Social Court in Hamburg , where he became chairman of a chamber for contract doctor law in 1997. In 1999 he was seconded to the Hamburg Regional Social Court and appointed judge at the Regional Social Court in August 2003.

On March 13, 2008, Engelhard was elected judge at the Federal Social Court by the judges' selection committee. He took up this position on August 1, 2008. Engelhard assigned the presidium of the court to the 6th Senate responsible for contract doctor law.

Engelhard is co-author of commentaries on the SGB IV and SGB V .
