Wolfgang Faber (politician)

Wolfgang Faber (born July 2, 1936 in Berlin ) is a German politician and former member of the state parliament ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending school, Faber completed a commercial apprenticeship and then worked as a commercial clerk at Rheinstahl Wanheim GmbH in Duisburg in the field of data processing. He then studied at the University of Cologne and graduated in 1965 as a business teacher . He ran the Rheinstahl AG factory school on a freelance basis and was the operator of the "Kaufm. Repetitoriums Dipl.-Hdl. W. Faber" in Minden .

Faber had been a member of the CDU since 1974. He was active in numerous party committees, so u. a. Member of the CDU district committee in Minden-Lübbecke.

MP

From September 24, 1987 to May 30, 1990, Faber was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He moved up on his party's reserve list.

He was a member of the City Council of Porta Westfalica from 1979.
