Wolfgang Kieber (born July 22, 1984 in Feldkirch ) is a Liechtenstein football player. He is currently under contract with FC Balzers and is also the current national player for his country. In his club he usually acts as a midfielder. He can be used in both defensive and offensive midfield. With his great overview and excellent technique, Kieber keeps the opposing lines of defense in trouble. Another strength of Wolfgang Kieber is certainly his international experience.

Career

Due to his performance at BW Feldkirch, he was also noticed by those in charge of the Liechtenstein Football Association. Since Kieber's father is a Liechtenstein citizen, nothing stood in the way of a career in the Liechtenstein national team. He made his senior national team debut in the friendly against Macedonia . After a half-time lead of 1-0 for Liechtenstein, the game was ultimately lost 1: 2. Then Kieber played in friendly games against Togo and Wales and a European Championship qualifier against Iceland . After the 2009/2010 season, Wolfgang Kieber decided to leave FC BW Feldkirch and take on a new challenge at FC Balzers.

He played for FC Balzers for almost two seasons. On February 9, 2012, Kieber returned to BW Feldkirch. Kieber has been under contract with SC Tisis since the 2013/2014 season.
