Wolfgang Kuhn (Manager)

Wolfgang Kuhn (born October 29, 1956 in Biberach an der Riss ) is a German manager .

Life

Kuhn studied business administration at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and the University of Washington . In 1984 Wolfgang Kuhn received his doctorate from the Nuremberg Chair for General Banking and Insurance Management on the subject of the non-member business of credit unions . He then worked for the Stuttgarter Bank AG as assistant to the board for ten years. He then moved to Bankhaus Bauer AG , where he was promoted to CEO. On May 15, 2006, he left Bankhaus Bauer AG at his own request. One month later, Wolfgang Kuhn became a member of the board of directors at Südwestbank , where he was in charge of corporate banking and investment advice. On June 1, 2008, Kuhn became the spokesman for the Südwestbank board. Two years later he was confirmed in office. In May 2011, Wolfgang Kuhn became a board member of the Baden-Württemberg Banking Association. In February 2013 Kuhn was appointed honorary professor at the Economics Faculty of the University of Leipzig (Institute for Commerce and Banking). With effect from June 15, 2016, the Supervisory Board of Südwestbank confirmed Wolfgang Kuhn early for a further three years. On April 5, 2017, the Assembly of Delegates of the Association of German Banks in Berlin elected Kuhn to the Board of Directors of the Association.
