Wolfgang Maria Siegmund

Wolfgang Maria Siegmund (* 1956 in Graz ) is an Austrian writer .

Life

After studying law, Siegmund has been a freelance writer since 1985. He mainly writes poetry , plays and radio plays , occasionally also essays . Siegmund was a member of the "Nebelhorn" group in Graz. Today he lives in Pörtschach am Wörthersee and Villach in Carinthia .

Wolfgang Maria Siegmund received the “Austrian Dramatic Scholarship of the Federal Ministry” for five of his plays, as well as scholarships for Berlin, Trieste and Venice, as well as several prizes.

Sometimes he is also on stage with the blues harp .
