Wolfgang Neuser (musician)

Wolfgang Neuser (born March 1, 1951 in Siegen ; † April 5, 2018 ) was a German psychological psychotherapist who became famous as a musician . As a composer and keyboardist he was a member of the Krautrock group Birth Control .

Life

Wolfgang Neuser grew up in the North Rhine-Westphalian city of Siegen and was enthusiastic about music at a young age. For this reason he initially chose music as a major. From 1968 to 1984 he worked in changing bands as a composer and pianist.

At the same time, however, he changed his professional and academic focus and studied psychology, where he received a diploma from the Justus Liebig University in Gießen in 1983 . Wolfgang Neuser finally moved back to Siegen with his family and practiced there in his own practice as a psychological psychotherapist from 1985 to 2018.
