Wolfgang Peters (journalist)

Wolfgang Peters (born January 19, 1946 in Hesselsdorf , Czechoslovakia ) is a German journalist .

Life

Peters was born in the former Sudetenland . He put in Augsburg graduated from high school, and was followed by two years at the mountain troops of the Armed Forces . He then studied newspaper studies, modern history and theater studies at the University of Munich .

Since October 1977 he has been an editor at the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ), where he switched to the engine section and business editor in February 1982. Since January 2000 he has been responsible for the supplement to the FAZ “Technik und Motor” (every Tuesday) and since September 2001 for “Motor / Technik” in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung. At the age of 65, he ended these activities in January 2011.

Peters is married and has two children.
