Wolfgang Riesinger

Wolfgang Riesinger (born January 8, 1951 in Ostbevern ) is a physical education teacher, medium and long-distance runner, pigeon fancier and author. He is married with two daughters and now lives in Kattenvenne .

Vita

After graduating from high school at Loburg Castle , he first became an athlete. At the beginning of the seventies he was one of the best medium and long distance runners in Germany and in 1972 he set the indoor record in the 3 x 1000 meter relay (see list of German indoor champions in the 3 x 1000 meter relay ) in the Cast with Harald Norpoth , Franz-Josef Kemper and Wolfgang Riesinger. He was a participant in the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich and won several German championship titles. He later worked as a physical education teacher and trainer. In 2012 he wrote a detective novel with strongly autobiographical features about his passion for breeding pigeons.
