Wolfgang Thiele (born April 4, 1951 ) is a former German soccer player . In his career he played a Bundesliga game for Hannover 96 .
Career
In 1968 (according to other sources 1971) Thiele moved to the Bundesliga soccer club Hannover 96 . There he gave his Bundesliga debut in the 1971/72 season on the 33rd match day in the 1: 3 away defeat against Eintracht Frankfurt when he was substituted on for Peter Anders in the 67th minute of the game . Hannover finished the season in 16th place. Between 1972 and 1974 he played for the amateur team of Hannover 96, which played in the Lower Saxony Association League. In 1974 he moved to Prussia Hameln in the Oberliga Nord , where he played 192 games in eight years. He was able to score seven goals. In 1979 he worked there briefly as a player- coach.
