Wolfgang Tietze (* 1954 in Leipzig ) is a German painter and graphic artist.

Career

After studying graphic art from 1980 to 1985 in Leipzig at the Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst under Bernhard Heisig , the painter moved to Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in the village of Hohenbüssow. In the atelier there, the former neo-Gothic village school, the artist began his secluded search for his own visual language.

During this time he worked with the Galerie Schwarz from Greifswald. Individual presentations at Art Cologne , Art Frankfurt and other European art fairs made him known. He has lived and worked in a studio in Leipzig since 2016.
