Wolfgang Trautmann (sociologist)

Wolfgang Trautmann (born September 19, 1944 in Georgenthal , Thuringia ) is a German sociologist and author.

After studying philosophy and sociology in Düsseldorf and Bochum, Trautmann worked in various professional fields: market and sales research, urban and regional planning as well as personnel planning and management. Since 1978 he has been professor of sociology at the Evangelical University of Applied Sciences Rhineland-Westphalia-Lippe in Bochum.
