Wolfgang Wirth (medical doctor, 1932)

Wolfgang Wirth (* 1932 ; † 2011 ) was a German alternative doctor .

Career

He first worked in agriculture, then learned - mostly part-time in distance learning - various disciplines of alternative medicine such as Ayurveda , Chinese medicine and finally homeopathy .

Wirth was a member of the Research Center for Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture in Hong Kong from 1979 and has been a member of the supervisory board of the Korean Leprosy Relief Organization since 1966.

Since 1981 Wirth has been involved in aloe research with various partners in the Basic Research for Biological Medicine working group in Berlin . In 1985, his most important work was healing with aloe for the first time . Wirth mainly dealt with the Aloe capensis group ( Cape aloe , Aloe arborescens , Aloe sokotrina , Aloe ferox ). Vladimir Petrovich Filatov's work in connection with neurotransmitters serves as the basis of his research . In 1988, Wirth was granted a patent for the process for producing an extract from aloe leaves of the plant genus Aloe capensis or Aloe arborescens .
