Wolfsfront is a German right-wing rock band from Saarland . It is part of the Hammerskin network.

Band history

Wolfsfront was founded in 2011 around the neo-Nazi Robert K., former drummer in the band Aggressor and member of the Hammerskin network, which is banned in Germany. The band released a demo with four songs back in 2012, which was distributed by the right-wing extremist music label Wewelsburg-Records from Bielefeld. The band often plays live, especially in neighboring countries. In 2012 Wolfsfront played a concert at the “Hammerfest” in Toul , France, in front of more than 1200 visitors, two thirds of them from Germany. It was one of the biggest right-wing extremist concerts of 2012. The concert made the band known in the European scene, and Saarland media also reported on the incident and warned of the activities of the newly formed band.

The group initially maintained a rehearsal room in Saarbrücken-Rußhütte , which also served as a meeting place for members of right-wing extremist comradeships and members of the Hammerskin network. After the Antifa informed residents and the landlord with a leaflet, the group's rehearsal room was terminated without notice. The band and the clubhouse then moved to Altenwald , but this property did not last long either, as the city of Saarbrücken made use of its right of first refusal and terminated the lease.

In 2015, the band took part in a sampler for the Day of the German Future on June 6, 2015 in Neuruppin, Brandenburg . The sampler published by the scene label PC Records was indexed by the Federal Testing Office for Media Harmful to Young People (BPjM). In particular, the title Fight Against ZOG served as the basis for indexing due to its anti-Semitic content. In 2016, the first album by Wolfsfront was released with Viel Feind, viel Ehr about the right-wing rock label Opos Records. This was indexed by the BPjM in June 2016 .
