The landscape protection area (LSG) Wolfställen is located in the municipality of Oberriexingen in the Ludwigsburg district in Baden-Württemberg .
The landscape protection area prescribed in 2005 extends over a length of around one kilometer north of Oberriexingen on an area of 14.7 ha . At its widest point, the LSG measures around 270 m.
The area is characterized by traditional orchards, numerous dry stone walls as well as rainen, field trees and hedges. This revitalization of the otherwise woody landscape should be preserved by the regulation as a protected area. In addition, the area offers environmental protection, buffering and networking functions for the biotopes contained in the area consisting of field trees and hedges as well as the two extensive natural monuments Wolfstall-Heide and field trees "Bruch" .
