Wolni i Solidarni (German: The Free and Solidarians , WiS for short) is a political party in Poland . It emerged in November 2016 as a split from the Kukiz movement , after a scandal surrounding Senior Marshal Kornel Morawiecki during a vote in the Sejm in April of the same year . In the further course of the legislative period, the party gained three more members from the Kukiz movement and now has six members.

Programmatically, WiS invokes solidarism and advocates state interventionism . In addition, its chairman Morawiecki announced that he would support the economic and social policy of the Szydło government .

The party founder and chairman Morawiecki died on September 30, 2019.
