Delchev Ridge ( Bulgarian Делчев хребет Deltschew chrebet ) is a 10 km long mountain ridge on Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is the eastern mountain range of the Tangra Mountains and extends from Devin Saddle in an east-northeast direction to Renier Point .
Maps were made in 1968 by British scientists and in 1980 by Argentine scientists. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2002. Its name is derived from that of Delchev Peak , which is named after the Bulgarian freedom fighter Georgi Nikolow Deltschew (1872-1903).
