Volodymyr Cossack
Volodymyr Wasyljowytsch Kosak ( Ukrainian Володимир Васильович Козак , born August 9, 1959 in Polohy , Zaporizhia Oblast , Soviet Union ) is a Ukrainian politician . He is a member of the Party of Regions and from March 21, 2011 to February 27, 2014 General Director of the Ukrainian railway company Ukrzalisnytsja .
Life
Kosak was born in Polohy, Zaporizhia Oblast. He is married to Olha Tomiwna and has one daughter.
He studied at the National University in Dnepropetrovsk and since 1981 worked as a dispatcher at the Jassynuwata station . 1985 Kosak became head of the traffic management. 2000 general director of Lemtrans GmbH, the following year general director of the "Mishrehionalnyj Promyslowyj Soyuz" corporation. Between August 23, 2006 and November 8, 2007, Kosak was General Director of Ukrzalisnytsja for the first time.
politics
After the parliamentary elections in 2006 , Kosak became a member of the Verkhovna Rada . He was head of the Railways Sub-College of the Parliamentary College of Transport and Communications. On September 12, 2006, Kosak gave up his mandate. In the 2007 elections he was re-elected as a member of parliament. He was Minister of Infrastructure in the Azarov second cabinet .
Kosak is a holder of the Ukrainian Order of Merit .
