The Woolworth Estate is a historic property in Glen Cove , Long Iceland in the US state of New York .

The 56-room house was built in 1916 by Winfield Woolworth , the founder of the FW Woolworth Company , by the architect Charles Gilbert as a country residence. It comprises five buildings, including a former mansion, and is one of the last and largest private houses that gave the so-called Gold Coast its name. The house is privately owned. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1979 .
