Worod
Worōd was a ruler of Hatra , the capital of a Mesopotamian minor principality in the Parthian Empire . He is the oldest verifiable ruler of this city, who is only mentioned in a few inscriptions with the title mry ' . According to an inscription, he is said to have been the father of a Ma'nu , so he was probably the predecessor of the ruler of the same name. An inscription of it comes from the North Iwan in Bait Alaha system mentioned, which in turn was built at the beginning of the second century. The inscription supports a dating of Worod around 110 AD.
