The Wordie Bay is a bay on the Fallières coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It lies between Cape Berteaux and Mount Guernsey to the west of the remains of the Wordie Ice Shelf .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1999 based on the name of the ice shelf of the same name. It is named after the British polar explorer and geologist James Wordie (1889–1962).
