The Workers' Party of Singapore (abbreviated WP ; chin .: 新加坡 工人 党) is one of the largest opposition parties in Singapore . It was founded in 1957. The chairman is Low Thia Khiang . After the 2006 election, the party had one seat in parliament. In the 2011 election she won five more seats.
