World badminton

World Badminton was the official worldwide magazine publication in the sport of badminton . The magazine was the organ of the Badminton World Federation , then still known as the International Badminton Federation , and was mostly published every two months by this.

history

The first edition appeared in January 1972 with Herbert Scheele as editor. After 33 issues were published and Scheele retired in April 1978, production was relocated to Canada, where the President of the Canadian Association, Lorne Wortman , was personally responsible for the publication. In 1982 another relocation to Scotland followed, in 1984 another to England. With the 27th year 1999 the publication of World Badminton was stopped.
