The Worsklyzja is a right tributary of the Worskla . The river has a length of 101 km and a catchment area of 1,480 km².
The Vorsklytsia valley is trapezoidal with a width of 4 to 5 km. The river runs in great meanders. The floodplains are swampy, especially in the lower reaches, the right bank is often quite steep, the left bank rather low. The slope of the river is 0.77 m / km. The river freezes in early December and stays frozen until mid-March.

The Vorsklytsia begins on the western side of the Central Russian Plate , south of the village of Proletarsky . It flows mainly in a south-westerly direction. It crosses the Russian-Ukrainian border northeast of the village of Popivka . The Worsklyzja flows into the Worskla on the northern edge of the village Kyrykowka.
