Wynither
Wynither († March 24, 1059 or 1063 in Zwenkau ) was Bishop of Merseburg .
Wynither was canon in Würzburg . It was consecrated in either 1059 or 1063. In the sixth week of his tenure , on March 24th of the year of his ordination, he died on his estate in Zwenkau.
The Merseburg bishop's chronicle judged him very critically, he was only geared towards carnal enjoyment (food), spent two thirds of his time on his hereditary property outside the diocese, which he thought was too small, and left almost no material goods behind.
