XO-3 is a main sequence star of spectral class F in the constellation Giraffe, about 600 light years away . It has an apparent magnitude of 9.9 mag.

In 2007, Christopher M. Johns-Krull discovered an exoplanet orbiting this star. This is called XO-3b .
