Xavier Carrer (born July 11, 1973 in Andernos-les-Bains ) is a French billiards player and entrepreneur.

Career

Carrer is a carom player in the classic disciplines " Free Game " and " Cadre ". He achieved his first international success in 1992 with a silver medal at the European Junior Championships in the free game. In the same year he won a bronze medal at the Junior European Championships in Cadre 47/2, a second was added in 1994. His greatest success is winning the bronze medal at the European Championships in Cadre 71/2 in 2002. In 2004 and 2005 he was the winner of the French championships in this discipline.

Kozoom

In 1999, at the age of 26, he founded the media company Kozoom , the world market leader in digital media, especially for live broadcasts of carom tournaments. The company now has a branch in Seoul , South Korea . Kozoom is an official partner of the Union Mondiale de Billard (UMB) and the Confédération Européenne de Billard (CEB).
