Xavier Pérez Grobet

Xavier Pérez Grobet (born October 12, 1964 in Mexico City ) is a Mexican cameraman .

Life

Xavier Pérez Grobet was born the son of an architect and a photographer. Because of this environment, he wanted to become a filmmaker at an early age. Since the film school Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica only allowed students aged 23 and over to study, he worked and traveled the world before he was selected as one of 12 students from over 300 applicants. From 1989 Grobet worked as an independent cameraman in Mexico, where he made films such as Entrada de la noche , Amorosos fantasmas and De noche vienes, Esmeralda , before moving to Los Angeles in 1999 and since then as a cameraman for films such as Nacho Libre , Mitten ins Herz - A song for you and I Love You Phillip Morris worked.
