Xenia Alexandrovna Razumova
Xenija (Ksenija) Alexandrovna Rasumova ( Russian Ксения Александровна Разумова , English transcription Ksenia Aleksandrovna Razumova; * 1931 ), is a Russian plasma physicist at the Kurchatov Institute and works in the field of nuclear fusion.
She twice won the State Prize of the USSR for work on tokamak (1971) and for work on plasma heating with a gyrotron (1983).
In 2017 she received the Hannes Alfvén Prize for receiving a macroscopically stable plasma column in a tokamak configuration for the first time, which led to the worldwide program of exploration and development of the tokamak concept in fusion research with magnetically confined plasmas (laudation). In 1992 she received the Artzimowitsch Prize.
